George Jetson Memorial Space Port
The city planners have recently floated a bond issue to fund a spaceport at the end of Highway 61; down past the industrial area. The George Jetson Memorial Space Port will be constructed from composite materials. My thought is to use a plastic space-man playset (the astronaut equivalent of little green army men) in combination with a K-line Airport building set (because that’s the one with a radar tower) and the Marsliner (Glenco Model) from Disney’s Futureland circa 1960. I should be able to design something with an appropriate space-race theme.
