This
is the Train Display Case I was making when I had my
little accident.
My collection has grown since then.
The case now holds (by shelf):
1). some wooden whistles. The Lego Station 9&3-quarters, a decoy
and some wooden figures made by Grandpa Brown.
2). a K-line Howitzer, a Lionel Radar Car and the Lionel "Speedboat
Mickey."
3). Michelle's Lego Hogwart's Express, a sccop loader holding Pinewood
Derby ribbons and a clockwork Marx engine.
4). A Remote-Control Highspeed Train we found in Vegas.

My second attempt at a case is nicer.
It's longer and has box-jointed corners. Best of all, no loss of limbs.
This one holds:
My original Marx Illinois Central Gulf Work Train
A row of 6-inch tin cars (most of these came from eBay)
And some cast iron trains my parents found (one antique, one reproduction)
“When playing with
old tin toys, you sometimes get a bonus: if you cut yourself, you
also get a tetanus shot.”

Both cases hang on the wall oppisite of my computer
desk. You can see them just under the shelf for the
main train loop.
